We are an American family of five living in and travelling through Europe in vans, buses, planes, and trains, and on bicycles, scooters and — when we are really lucky — donkeys. Home now, and since July 2017, is Spain. And in particular, right now, beautiful Barcelona. Before Barcelona we were in Sevilla. And before that Rye, New York, and before that Dubai. And before that . . . well, there have been a lot of moves. Our co-living companions consist of Stella, a half-Great Pyrenees and probably half-labrador mutt, Pepper, a surprisingly confident flop-eared rabbit who is sometimes bullied by pigeons, and Dakar, a runaway turtle rescued from the mean streets of Pedralbes.
